Title of Bulletin Board: The Skeletal System

Category: Skeletal/Bones

Suggested Grade Level: 3-8

Materials: Skeleton from the dollar store (sold around halloween)

Seasons are awesome times to get great and inexpensive materials from local stores. Around halloween you can find a great skeleton almost everywhere. I purchased mine from the Dollar Store and instead of using it to scare my students I used it to educate them about the skeletal system. The skeleton was places in a cool position and used as a diagram to point out some of our main and most important bones in our body. There is also a Did you know section sharing cool facts about bones the students and teachers found interesting.
