Title of Bulletin Board: The Race for Excellence has No Finish Line

Category: Character Education

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Markers, Goal Handouts, Stapler

The race for excellence has no finish line, with the Olympic Rings, comes while the Olympics are fresh on the students minds. The character trait of self-excellence, and achieving self-actualization, or being the best you can be, is a lifelong process. Students write their goals on the handout and work toward achieving them in the school year.

Additional Information:

Other types of handouts, besides "Goals" can be used, including individual fitness or sport skills, reading or writing, and/or social goals can be used.
