PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: HOP TO IT

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Frog visuals, strips of paper printed [Be Active, Eat Healthy Snacks, Be Positive, Drink Water, Limit Screen Time, Eat Breakfast]


The purpose is to promote healthy lifestyles. To go with the theme, Hop To It, there are frog visuals and a lily pad. Also, there are positive messages to encourage students to be healthy.

I like this idea and will be sure to use it during the year. Kids love frogs so it will catch their interest. The simple healthy messages are great.

Our kindergarten and 1st grade classes touch on life cycles. We used this bulletin board to teach about the life cycles of frogs with various pictures of them at different stages in their life. Both the students and the teachers loved it!
