PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Olympic hopeful

Category: Motivation

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: construction paper, printer

This is a small section of a large, shared bulletin board. With the Olympics starting when we start school, I hoped to inspire our students to reach for their own goals- both academic and athletic. We do several progressive, year-long personal goal-oriented activities in PE- Push Up Path, Jump Rope Ladder, Super Jogger and I wanted students to remember that Olympians were once students like them.

Additional Information:

This board section is done simply with a printer for the words and Olympic rings, cut out numbers, a border and construction paper.
