PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Splat-A-Thon

Category: Field Day

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: printed letters, printed pictures, border, consturction paper, paint, pictures

We are having a new theme for field day this year. It's a "Splat-A-Thon" and the students are super excited! First, we put up the border and then painted slime dripping down. Then I printed off the title in a gooey font and cut them out. I printed off pictures from on-line that correspond to the names of the games. Next, I typed up a description of the games with actual pictures of students playing each one. In the description, it also says if it is a water, dry or messy game. To add a little more pop, we cut out splats in bright colors to break up all of the green. The students keep stopping by the bulletin board each day to read about the new games and see the pictures.
