PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Walk Safe/Bike Safe

Category: Adapted

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Boardmaker Symbols and WalkSafe/Bike Safe handouts

This is an interactive bulletin board made to communicate to my students with special needs. My students are both readers and non-readers and they communicate using Boardmaker symbols. The symbols on the board can be removed and used to teach with since we used Velcro to adhere them to the board. The board helps us reinforce skills we are teaching about crossing the street and biking. The board is also used as a "Word Wall" to learn new vocabulary about our Pedestrian and Biking Unit.
