PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Lesson Closure with the Twitter Feed

Category: Closure

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Bulletin board paper, border, letter cut-outs, Twitter logo, library pockets

This 'Twitter Feed' bulletin board serves two purposes:

1) use it as a formative assessment tool to check for student understanding at the end of class, and
2) it is a great way to incorporate writing into your physical education lesson.

At the end of the class, ask your students to write down an answer to a question you pose related to the lesson. Once your students answer the question have them insert the slip into the Twitter (library) pocket card before exiting the gym. Pockets are numbered 1-35. Assign each student or class their own number for easy organization.
