Title of Bulletin Board: Hanging Around This Summer?

Category: Seasons (Fall, Spring, etc.)

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: green tissue paper, burlap cloth, monkey clipart, activities to do in the summer, brown poster board

Hanging around this summer is a bulletin board designed to encourage students to get out and play during the summer. Students spend more and more time hanging inside, instead of going outside and playing. The bulletin board features two trees made out of brown construction paper and green tissue paper for the leaves. There is a vine between the trees and a vareity of monkeys placed throughout. Each monkey then has an activity that the students can engage in during the summer. Example: go for a bike ride, swimming, help out around the house. There are burlap clothes hanging from the ceilling to add more vines to the board.
