PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Feeling Puzzled About P.E.? Just scan

Category: Technology

Suggested Grade Level: 3-12

Materials: Bulletin board paper, boarder, precut letters, markers, a puzzle template, iPad and printer access

The board is a picture of a puzzle with different QR codes placed on some puzzle pieces. The bulletin board was built to show administration, teachers and students activities that we are doing in P.E. via videos. Videos were taken during certain classes of the students participating and then I created a QR code for each one. Each QR code shows a different class performing a different game or skill. This board can be kept up all year and then just replace the old QR codes with new ones. This is a great way to post your student work in the hallway as classroom teachers do with their cute projects. This is also an interactive bulletin board in which you could get credit through your evaluations. It is also a great use of technology, the classroom teachers love it!

When scanning the QR codes, one must have our county's google account to view the videos to protect each student. Therefore, random people can not see the videos.
