PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: PE Rocks

Category: Character Education

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Crayons, shoe pictures, and print out of your school name

I did this on a day I was not able to use the gym and it was too hot outside to take the students out for PE. I ran copies of tennis shoes for all my 3rd grade class and talked to them about the importance of being YOU. We are all unique and we need to understand each others differences. Talked about character counts and then had the students design their own unique shoe wear. We cut them out and I stapled them to the bulletin board in PE letters. The students were excited to see their work published for everyone in the school to see.
