PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Skeleton

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Halloween Skeleton, Yarn and Paper with names

Around October I taught my K students tha main bones in their body. I got a cheap flat Skeleton and put it up on a bulletin board and wrote out different bones. Then I put a string from the names to the bone.

I had the children come up to the board and point to different bones that I named off. This was a very helpful bulletin board to have in the classroom and it became a real learning tool. It helped the younger kids to understand what they looked like under their skin.
