Title of Bulletin Board: Climb The Leadership Ladder In P.E.

Category: Character Education

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Background paper, letter cut outs, boarder, The Leader in Me 7 habits, and a mirror.

This bulletin board focuses on the 7 Habits of Happy Kids from The Leader in Me. These are great habits to teach the children about responsibility and building self-confidence. I used this board at the beginning of the school year. The 7 habits are: be Proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand, then to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw.

I got the information from The Leader In Me websites and made a ladder with 7 steps. Each step of the ladder is one of the 7 habits. Then I added a few inspirational quotes and a mirror with the saying, "Can you see the leader in you?"

I really like this bulletin board and the quotes that goes with this. I am having a hard time reading what you use for each of the Habits on the ladder.
