PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Showers of Stress Relief

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: 3-8

Materials: fabric backing, ribbon border, cut-out letters and raindrops, directions, standard, I Can statement, I Did It sheet

This board was created to teach a fourth grade lesson about stress management. It offers several great stress relief tips that take no more than ten minutes to complete. At one point in the lesson, students go to the board and choose a stress relief strategy that could benefit them. Students then submitted their relief tip onto our online discussion at Today's Meet. This fulfilled the I Can statement, "I can choose one stress relief strategy to minimize the stressors in my life." This activity could really be used at almost all grade levels.
