PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Fitnessgram

Category: Fitness Assessments

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Fitnessgram HFZ Chart, Pictures of kids performing each skill, letters to spell Fitnessgram

Each time I introduce a test from the Fitnessgram I add it to this Bulletin Board. I take pictures of the kids performing each test, write a brief description of the test, and list the common errors. Students use the Health Fitness Zone Chart to find the target scores for their age.

How do you get your posters to stick to the brick walls! I love the bulletin board, it is neat and attractive, but I am especially impressed that it is still on the wall.

Where did you buy your fitness gram posters?

Just wanted to say that I like the way you did your Fitnessgram Board. It looks very clean and neat and maybe it will motivate my students to get more involved and try a little bit harder.
