PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Dear Journal

Category: Motivation

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Large Chart paper, 3 large plastic spiral binding combs, marker, pictures of sports/exercise activities, large cardboard pencil, hot glue gun, stapler

The board is a motivational board designed as if a child was asked to write on a topic about himself in his daily school journal. It sends a confident thought about being able to understand that we might not be good at some things in life (PE) but that giving it your best try is what is most important. It promotes a positive learning thought that children (and adults) can take with them and use not only in PE, but in their daily academics/life.
