Title of Bulletin Board: Winter Blues?

Suggested Grade Level: k-12

Materials: Bulletin board paper, boarder, cut out letters, paper, and markers


The "Winter Blues? Chase Them Away" bulletin board was built to inform the students about different winter physical activities are available to them. The bulletin board lists several winter/outdoor activities that students can do throughout the winter to fight the winter blues. The list of activities include Skiing, Snowboarding, Sledding, Skating, Snowmobiling, Hockey, and Ice Fishing. Under each activity there is a small explanation of the activity. In addition, on the right hand side there is a section labeled "Where To Go". Under this section it lists local parks, rinks, etc. that are available to students to participate in these events. The purpose of the bulletin board is to educate students about different winter activities so that they will stay active all year long.
