PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Basketball is Funtastic

Category: Sport Seasons

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Materials: Print outs of basketball terms and clip art, 1 large basketball, 1 or 2 small basketballs, 1 small basketball hoop, glue

The purpose was to get students excited about an upcoming basketball unit. Cover a bulletin board in any color paper you would like. Print out various basketball terms and clip art to decorate the board with. Cut 1 large basketball in half - you can use more depending on the size of your board. Cut the small basketballs in half. Using a strong glue and/or staples attach the basketballs and small plastic hoop to the board. Arrange the clip art items around the bulletin board. You can purchase the letters for the title or make them at your school.
