Title of Bulletin Board: Whooo knows what PE means and why is it important?

Category: Holiday-Halloween

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Black, yellow, white, green, brown, purple paper, letter and picture punch


Use the Halloween (harvest) holiday to make the meaning of PE fun!

Draw an owl on white paper. Use punch to punch out ghosts and words. Cut out pumpkins and write why PE is important on them. On the punched out ghosts what PE means. Hang up fence and staple the pumpkins to the fence. Cut out tree and hang owl in the tree. Hang words on top and bottom of board. Hang ghosts above tree. Use the board as a tool to remind students what PE means and why it is important. Call on students to answer.
