PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Making Tracks

Category: Promoting PE

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: butcher paper, letters, paw prints

This year we started a recognition program for those students who are listening, following directions and working hard every time they come to P.E. It's a great opportunity to recognize those students who may not otherwise be recognized (like for academics). Since our mascot is the Coyote I put up some printed paw prints. Then I just made a label for each grade level K-5. Each week I choose 1 boy and 1 girl from each grade level to be recognized. They get a reward as well as their name on the board for the week. I used scrunched up butcher paper for a fun border too! This bulletin board is in the hallway entering our multi-purpose room. It's fun for the students and staff to see the new names each week!
