PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Score a Touchdown in PE

Category: Rules

Suggested Grade Level: k-5

Materials: Paper, Tape, Construction Paper

This bulletin board was created as a fun way to post the rules. Each football says a different ways that kids can be good at PE (listen while teacher is talking, enter and exit quieting, try your hardest, HAVE FUN!, etc. The student really enjoy it. It is a football field with fans watching. I used two major college football teams in our state but any school could do this. They could use their own school mascot or popular teams in their area. Later I added our male coach's face to the cheerleaders faces. It adds lots of fun to our gym!
This board was very easy to make. I printed almost everything. We used white tape to make the football field lines and crinkled pieces of construction paper for the cheerleaders pom poms.
