Title of Bulletin Board: Try A Healthy SACK!

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: k-5

Materials: paper grocery bag,colored paper,rubber chicken,pictures of different vegtables,plastic fruit,empty egg carton,empty milk bottle,candy wrapper,letters,white paper,gold border

This works right along with our health unit on making healthy choices at the grocery store. We use this when teaching the food groups.
Tack colorful background paper and add some gold border. Staple or hot glue a brown grocery bag on the board and add different foods to the sack. Also, make a shopping list using the food groups. Add letters and you are ready to go.
The students love this board and it serves as a visual to emphasize healthy eating.
