PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Healthy Teeth

Category: Dental Care

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Bulletin Board Paper, Bulletin Board Smiley Face Border, Die-Cut Letter, Printer, Toothbrushes

I built the board for Dental Health month. In my PE classes we have been learning different ways to keep our teeth healthy. For the board I stapled red paper up, and put smiley face border on the outside. I then used the die-cut machine to cut out the letters "Healthy Teeth Make Happy Teeth." Next I stapled them to the board also. After that I used a printer to print out examples of how to keep teeth healthy, and stapled those to board. To complete the look I used a hot glue gun to adhere the toothbrushes to the board. The children love seeing the things we have been talking about in class on the board.

Additional Information:

If you do not have the money to go buy toothbrushes dentist's offices are usually very willing to donate.
