PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: F.I.T.T.

Category: Fitness

Suggested Grade Level: 6-12

Materials: construction paper and die-cut letters

This interactive bulletin board was made to help student understand and remember the F.I.T.T. principle. The flowers were made of 4 concentric circles of heavy weight poster paper that comes in rolls. "Think FITT to be fit" letters and snowflakes were die-cut from construction paper. The Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type cards have the corresponding question on them.....when students lift the question; they read the answer to the question. I made the cards in WORD and printed them in green to complete the red/green/winter/holiday/festive look. The words and cards are laminated so they can be used again. Kids enjoy reading the questions and lifting the cards to see the answers. I refer to this display frequently in my daily lessons.
