Equipment Name: Hockey Stick Safety Covers

Materials Needed: Swim noodles

Rationale: Helps with safety when teaching striking with hockey sticks.

Directions For Making:

Ask for donated swim noodles at the end of the pool season or find them on sale at the close of the season. Cut them in 6" pieces then slit one side open (like a hot dog bun). Place the blade of the hockey stick into the open foam and tape closed with floor tape or duct tape.
