Name of Activity: Dance La Vinca Assessment

Purpose of Activity: The purpose of this assessment is twofold:

    1. To assess pupils' attitudes towards the dance performed.
    2. To see if the pupils learned the origin of the folk dance, and the story behind it. (Since Malta is in the Mediterranean, the dance unit was comprised of local and Italian dances).

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials Needed: The assessment sheet and a pencil for each student

Time Needed to Complete: The first part (filling in the "smiley" faces) was completed during lesson time. The second part was discussed in class, and completed as homework.
