![]() Name of Activity: Football Passing Peer Assessment
Purpose of Activity: To evaluate partners as they move through a progression of simple to more complex throwing (passing) tasks, while providing and receiving important feedback necessary for improvement. Suggested Grade Level: 5-7 Materials Needed: Football Passing Peer Assessment Sheet Description of Idea In groups of 3, students complete the following tasks in the correct order. Partners will take turns completing each of the four throwing tasks before moving on to the next challenge. One partner should throw, the second player should receive passes, and the third player should use this task sheet to coach the others. "Coaches" check the boxes provided when their partner completes each task successfully. Take turns coaching each other and using the “things to look for” (or "cues") listed on the document. |
