Title of Bulletin Board: Catch the Wave to Field Day

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Bulletin Board paper, construction paper, border, mascot picture

Description:

Our music teacher is doing an end of the year talent show with an ocean theme. She and the art teacher thought we might connect field day in with this theme. We came up with the title "Catch the Wave to Field Day" because we do a lot of water activities. We made a large wave out of white bulletin board paper and placed an eagle (our mascot) surfing on the top of the wave. Below the wave we made the beach out of sand and brown bulletin board paper with surf boards perched in the sand. The surf boards name some of the activities. The title is put on the cloads with black backgound to make the cloads stand out. The dates of the field days are also put on the board.
