PE Central Kids Quote of the Week
For week beginning Monday, January 21, 2002
Our gym features a rock climbing wall, adorned with a realistic cliff scene painted by the art students. After climbing the wall in physical education class, a seventh grader came into the office and asked to use the phone to call home because he didn't feel so well. "Why? What's wrong," the secratary asked. "I climbed the wall and I think I have altitude sickness," he replied. Thinking the child was kidding around, she replied, "I think you have to be up pretty high, around 7,000 feet for altitude sickness." He said, "I was - I climbed all the way to the top!"
