February Random Acts of Kindness Challenge Calendar

Purpose of Activity:

To teach children about how valuable it is to show kindness to others.

Suggested Grade Level:

3-5

Materials Needed:

Random Acts of Kindness Calendar and Certificate (2018) (PowerPoint) (PDF)

Description of Idea

This is great to do during a month like February where you can tie in Valentine's Day.

Students will take home the calendar. They complete the daily activity and have their parents sign each box they complete. Students turn in the calendar at the end of the month. Students that complete at least 3/4 of the calendar (or all of it) will receive a monthly challenge certificate (see above the certificate) and a fitness finder charm (optional).

Note: Feel free to edit and add and change the PowerPoint document to fit your needs and calendar year.
