Solving Minor Problems

Purpose of Activity:

To see if students can identify the four steps used when solving minor problems.

Suggested Grade Level:

2-5

Materials Needed:

The following task sheet and something to write with.

Time Needed to Complete:

To be completed during PE time, classroom time, or at home.

Description of Idea

After teaching, reviewing, and reinforcing the following four steps to solve minor problems with students:

  1. Ignore them
  2. Ask them to stop, please
  3. Move away from them
  4. Tell an adult

I then give them the following assessment which goes into their PE portfolio.
