PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Get Off The Couch

Category: Fitness

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Digital camera, construction paper, pictures from equipment catalogs

This board was put up at the beginning of the school year but could be used at any time of the year to encourage students to "get off the couch" and to not be "couch potatoes!" I took digital photos of different types of potatoes. After I printed the photos, I drew in "stick" arms and legs with a marker. I then stapled pictures of sports equipment, cut out of equipment catalogs, to the photos so it looked like the potatoes were playing different sports.
