PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Better Things to do Than Drugs

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Bulletin Boad Paper, Die-Cut Letters, Border, Pictures of children doing physical activites

I created this bulletin board to tie into Red Ribbon Week, and also to go with my drug unit. I used this board to show students that they have so many others things to do instead of drugs. I cut out the letters, and stapled them to the board. I then used the sport kids from another bulletin board I had. The kids loved seeing sports that they play up on the board!

Additional Information:

If you do not have the sports kids that I used you could always write/type activities, and then put them on the board for the students to read.

This Board is great. I think it is great for a PE teacher to talk against using drugs in the PE department. We hear all the time about atheletics using drugs. Start early and we just might stop a student from using drugs.
