Cut out the letters: How much sugar are you drinking

Get the labels from different drinks that kids drink and put it on the board. Next to the label, staple a sugar packet for each gram of sugar that is in the bottle. Under neath it write the total number of grams of sugar in the bottle!!!

Its a great visual for the kids to see how much sugar they are drinking a bottled drink!!!

I used this idea to build a BB for our cafeteria. It really had an impact on our students. Thanks so much for the idea.

Yes you are right about the sugar packets being 4g. If I were to do this again, I would have made a key and said 1 packet= 1 gram somewhere on the board.

I love this idea and am planning my own. What size are your packets, arent most sugar packets 4 grams or even more?
