PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Winter Wonderland..Get Out and Play

Category: Seasons (Fall, Spring, etc.)

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Blue butcher paper, ellison machine for letters, brown paper for trees, pie plates for icycles, white paper for snow people, white cloth for snow, various sport balls to use as snowballs, pins

This bulletin board is perfect for the cold wintery months. It is a constent reminder to the students to get out and play even in the cold weather. The students love that I made the "snowballs" look like different sport balls.

Additional Information:

The icicles are made from pie plates bought at the dollar store. I cut the tin to make the icicles. I used straight pins to put the icicles on the board. The pins poked right through the tin.

The snow is cloth to give the board a more real feel.

The snow people were ripped from paper instead of a perfect round circle.
