PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Turkeys in Training (Thanksgiving)

Category: Holiday-Thanksgiving

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: border, bulletin board paper, cut out letters, cut out turkeys

This bulletin board was simply for the Thanksgiving holiday and to remind students to keep moving. After covering the bulletin board with yellow paper and putting on a fall border, I drew a road up the board. Then I put on two turkeys in tennis shoes that I had drawn and cut out. Each turkey had a "cartoon bubble" with a statement. One said "Eat more chicken" and one said "Keep your feathers flapping".
