PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Don't Be A Scarecrow (Halloween)

Category: Holiday-Halloween

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Corn Husks, Straw, Scarecrow, Broom Handle, Paper, Letters

I made a scarecrow out of paper first. I then made the hair, hands and feet out of straw. I lined the bottom of the bulletin board with corn husks. I also borrowed a broom handle from our janitor for the scarecrow to hang from. I put the words: "Don't be a scarecrow, get out and exercise" on the board. I made this bulletin board to remind students to get outside and play.
