PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Body Positivity and Recognition

Category: Skeletal/Bones

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Skeleton and posters from the dollar store, bulletin board accents, skeletal model

This is a set of materials that I use in my school to build body positvity and recognition of body parts. I teach in a smaller Primary school with preschool through 1st grade and do not have a gymnasium. I teach in a classroom and the cafeteria when they are not having lunches, so I have several locations in the building for the students to see these materials. I also teach in a low-income, low-education level area; so providing body positivity and knowledge is really important for my young students!

Additional Information:

I picked up most of these materials at the dollar store! The bone model was a gift from a fellow teacher, and she got it from an educational book store.
