PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Beijing 2008 Olympics

Category: Olympics

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Color pictures of Olympic events, Olympic rings, all events border the bulletin board, Beijing 2008 as title

This is an Olympic bulletin board promoting the upcoming Olympics in Beijing. I'm trying to encourage my students to watch the Olympics this summer because when school resumes in the fall, I'll be doing an Olympics unit.

For the border of the bulletin board I printed out all the events and attached the corresponding olympic symbol to each event. There are 3 sets of Olympic rings, BEIJING 2008 is the title of the bulletin board and I printed out the Olympic slogan "Citius, Altius, Fortius" and "Faster, Higher, Stronger". There are color pictures of most of the events.

Additional Information:

The hallway is narrow so I could only get a shot from an angle. I can use a camera with a wider lens if you want a shot from straight on.

I searched for the photos online. They are from previous Olympic games.
