Title of Bulletin Board: Staying On The Right Track In PE

Category: Character Education

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Orange Poster Board Paper,, Zebra print boarder, Photocopied trains, Black sharpie marker, Black and White Construction Paper, and positive Character Traits

The zebra patterned border contrasts the orange poster board paper. Sharpie hand drawn images of train tracks and cut out glued on train caboos symbolize the fact that character development is a journey and a gradual progression. I used black and white construction paper with the names of teachers surrounding the tracks, these names directly correspond with positive character traits that are glued on the tracks. These words such as “honor” , “confidence” and “honesty” are all traits that every student should have to “stay on the right track” in PE.
