PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Don't Just Fidget Around...Exercise!

Category: End of School Year

Suggested Grade Level: k-5

Materials: Construction paper, cardboard (optional), fidget spinner (optional), overhead projector (optional)

I put this bulletin board up at the end of the school year to remind and encourage students to exercise throughout the summer. Fidget spinners were very popular so I made a giant cutout of one as the focal point to catch student's attention (and it did!).

I am not very good at freehand artistry so I placed an actual fidget spinner on an old-fashioned overhead projector and cast the image on paper hung on the wall. From there I traced it, cut it out, and backed it with cardboard to make it stand out on the bulletin board.
