PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Physical Education Makes Your Heart Race

Category: Physical Literacy

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Duct Tape, Capt. Pete posters

I downloaded many great posters from Cap'n Pete on Teachers pay Teachers that had lots of great information that focus on Physical Literacy. I wanted a way to display them to draw attention to them so I made a giant heart along with the healthy EKG lines. I made the heart and EKG lines with duct tape on the wall and then started to hang the different posters inside the heart. The purpose is to show the kids that everything that was up there all goes together. They need all of these things working together to be a heart healthy and physically literate person. Note: the image on the right side of the wall is another thing we do in PE so not part of the EKG.
