PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Olympics

Category: Beginning of School

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Paper, borders, olympic rings, cut out letters, sports decorations, die cut awards

With the Olympics starting the first week of school, I decided to create a bulletin board with an Olympic theme. I call it "Reach for the Gold". I want my students to make this year the greatest and make positive choices in Physical Education. I set up the board before Back to School Night. When the students came to school for back to school night, I had them write their name and their favorite physical activity on a die cut award (yellow objects in the picture). I stapled them to the board. I told all the students they are all gold medal winners this year! It is a good way to show school spirit at the beginning of the year and make all the students feel welcome!

I really like this idea and am wanting to make something similar. My question is where did you get the die cut awards?
