PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Non-Manipulative Locomotor Skills

Category: Movement Vocabulary

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Construction paper, letters, tin foil

This board is a great way to remind students about their movements in school. The board tells students about how they should walk in the hallway, and about how they can move in a lot of different ways in physical education.
This board was build for an urban student population, and the crossing sign really draws student attention. This board is used as a reminder for students as they pass by, and helps them review or learn their essential movement vocabulary. After all, our goal in physical education is to make sure students are physically literate.
