Title of Bulletin Board: All Aboard The Fitness Train
Suggested Grade Level: 3-5
Materials: Cut out pictures and papers
The purpose of the board is to teach students the five components of Health-Related Fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Every student learns differently so along with teacher verbal cueing, there are pictures and words on the BB to help teach students about each component of health-related fitness. I use this board during a fitness training circuit and students love learning new exercises they can try under each component!
