Title of Bulletin Board: Throwing and Catching is for Everyone

Category: Skill Themes

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Border, background paper, pumpkins, scrapbook paper of footballs, fall/halloween fifures, die-cut letters

Description:

I made this bulletin board to have a fall or Halloween theme. It shows the pumpkin figure pointing to the cat, stepping with the opposite foot and throwing the football to the cat. There is also the footballs showing the track of a proper overhand throw. It also has step 1: point, step 2: step, step 3: throw written so the students can remember the steps for a proper throw.

The students love seeing the fall theme and someone other than a child throwing. This series is a reminder for the way to throw a football overhanded. Also the students can see the steps written sign for an overhand throw. The title is to show how easy it can be to throw and catch if you follow the simple steps.
