PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: What's on Your Plate?

Category: Nutrition

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Materials: Cut-outs

I thought this bulletin board was perfect for my middle school students. It explains what kinds of foods they need to be focusing on and how much they need to be eating. My students enjoy looking at the board and reading what each serving size is and which kinds of foods fall in each category. The purpose was to get them to get out of their normal eating habits and start eating healthy, and I know many of them have began that process! It is very rewarding as a teacher!
