PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Winter "Wonder" Land

Category: Seasons (Fall, Spring, etc.)

Suggested Grade Level: k-2

Materials: Bulletin board paper, construction paper, scissors, glue, tape, pictures of ideas of how to be active and get exercise while it's cold outside!

The board is a wintery wonderland that is bordered with large snowflakes that have pictures of ideas/suggestions of how to still be active and get exercise even when it is cold outside. The message at the bottom...."How can I stay active...." definitely gets the children thinking; which in turn motivates the children so they can see that there are activities they can do in the cold months to keep moving and not just play videos.
