PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: "Catch a Positive Attitude"

Category: Character Education

Suggested Grade Level: k-5

Materials: Poster paper, ribbon, hand cut-outs, 1/2 hula hoop, paper letters, 2 softballs and 2 mitts or pictures of mitts

This message is in a display case in the main hallway that leads to the gymnasium. All students pass by it on their way to PE classes. I put it up at the beginning of the year and leave it there for a few months to promote good behaviour and that being active can help you have a "Positive Attitude"! Using the balls and mitts helps to convey that the display is from the PE department.
