PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: iPad P.E. Standards

Category: Physical Education

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Construction Paper, Velcro, borders, die-cuts for letters and numbers

This board was built for the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. Each P.E. standard is listed with a piece of velcro to attach different items and/or pictures. Each day I conclude my lesson with students going up to the board and placing different items and/or pictures(smurfs pictured) on the board next to the standards that we covered during the class. Students are asked to explain why they put the item next to a particular standard. This is an excellent way to conclude the lesson and cover everything that was learned in the class. It is also a good indicator of what students have mastered during your lesson.
