PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Hands of Holiday Fitness (Christmas)

Category: Holiday-Christmas/Winter

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Contruction Paper, Marker, Bulletin Board or Wall, Rubber Cement, Staples, Student Hands, Scissors

My board came together like I want my classes to come together. Working towards a common goal and to realize we are all should be working together.
Physical Fitness is something everyone could benefit from and I wanted to have a visual of how it could work with people getting involved.
Students came in and traced their hand, wrote their name on it and a message of how they will commit to being physically fit, and then in turn helped put the tree together. They were so excited to see their names, hands on the board that it is look at daily.

The message on the board represents fitness and how it could make you physically better. Instead of it reading Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I have it reading "Merry Fitness and a Happy New You!"

The purpose of the board was to create an eye catching display that would capture their attention while highlighting messages of being healthy.
